Stream Management

Stream Management provides operators with the tools to observe, query, and control live streams in real time. The platform tracks both currently active streams and historical stream sessions, enabling teams to diagnose issues, enforce access policies, and maintain stream health.

Streams

Capabilities

Stream Management covers the following operational areas:

  • Real-time stream listing — View all streams currently being ingested, including ingest URL, delivery URL, input state, and processing status.
  • Historical stream query — Retrieve records of past stream sessions filtered by domain, application name, and time range.
  • Monitoring and alert query — Inspect event and alert records associated with streams, including error codes and diagnostic detail.
  • Stream access control — Ban or unban a stream to control whether the platform accepts its ingest connection.
  • Stream reset — Disconnect the active ingest session and restart the media processing pipeline to apply updated configuration.
