Overview​

On-Demand Transcoding converts uploaded media into multiple formats and resolutions on demand, generating thumbnails and watermarks as part of the job.

When to use it​

Use it when you need lightweight, per-asset transcoding and thumbnailing triggered by uploads, without standing up a full encoding pipeline.
