Live Media Service
Overview
Live Media Service (LMS) ingests a live feed, transcodes it into an adaptive bitrate ladder, protects it with DRM and delivers it low-latency across multiple CDNs. It is the enterprise live pipeline behind large events and 24/7 live channels.
When to use it
Use LMS for professional live streaming where you need transcoding, studio DRM and multi-CDN failover — live sports, concerts, worship, or a broadcast-grade live channel — rather than a single-origin RTMP push.
