What is vMaxGuard?

vMaxGuard is a secure content delivery network (SCDN) that enhances and protects web applications and APIs from emerging attack vectors by combining high-performance Content Delivery Network (CDN) with advanced security features.

vMaxGuard delivers content through a global network of strategically distributed edge locations. Beyond performance acceleration, vMaxGuard provides comprehensive Web Application and API Protection (WAAP). Its AI-driven Web Application Firewall (AI-WAF) integrates rule-based detection, machine learning, and semantic analysis to defend against web-based attacks. Additionally, vMaxGuard provides DDoS mitigation, bot management, API security, and programmable emergency mitigation to safeguard applications against modern attack vectors:

  • User requests through vMaxGuard are routed to the nearest edge location, ensuring minimal latency and fast website access. If the content is cached, vMaxGuard delivers it instantly. Otherwise, it retrieves the content from the origin server while applying AI-driven security checks. Real-time traffic analysis, including advanced bot management and API protection, filters out malicious requests, ensuring that only legitimate users can access the website securely.
  • vMaxGuard continuously monitors traffic, identifying and neutralising threats with automated defences such as virtual patching, access control, and rate limiting. When a known attack pattern is detected, mitigation measures are applied instantly. For emerging threats, AI-driven behavioural analysis dynamically adapts security rules to counter evolving cyberattacks, ensuring continuous protection, availability, and resilience on websites.

By leveraging its intelligent security framework and distributed architecture, vMaxGuard enables businesses to protect sensitive data, minimise attack surfaces, and ensure business continuity - all while maintaining a seamless and secure digital experience, even in the face of cyber threats.
