Live Transcoding Transmuxing Usage

The Analytics module provides comprehensive usage monitoring for live transcoding and transmuxing operations, presenting detailed monthly statistics and job volume metrics for current customers.

This module displays usage data for live Transcoding/Transmuxing and Recording operations with historical trend analysis.

Transcoding and Transmuxing Usage Analytics​

Monthly Usage Overview​

The system tracks monthly usage data for live transcoding and transmuxing operations, providing insights into:

  • Resource consumption patterns
  • Job volume trends
  • Service utilization metrics
  • Historical performance data

Usage Metrics by Resolution​

Transcoding/Transmuxing Usage Categories​

The usage analytics chart displays six distinct usage categories with color-coded curve representations:

  • Transcoding usage for UHD presets
  • Transcoding usage for HD presets
  • Transcoding usage for SD presets
  • Transmuxing usage for UHD presets
  • Transmuxing usage for HD presets
  • Transmuxing usage for SD presets

All usage metrics are measured in hours.

Time Period Selection​

Default View: Current year data display Period Options: Switch between last year and current year using the period selector

Data Export​

Download monthly usage data in Excel format using the export function located in the top right area of the chart.

Job Volume Analytics​

Linear Live Jobs and Event Jobs Tracking​

Monthly Job Statistics​

The system presents monthly metrics for:

  • Maximum concurrent linear live jobs: Peak simultaneous linear streaming jobs
  • Total live event jobs: Cumulative event-based streaming jobs

Both current year and previous year data are available with color-coded trend visualization.

Data Visualization Features​

  • Multi-year comparison: Current year vs. previous year trends
  • Interactive charts: Switch between different time periods
  • Excel export: Download statistical data for external analysis
