Multi-Domain

The Multi-Domain feature enables creation of alternative domain names alongside the primary domain. Alternative domains share cache and configuration settings while maintaining separate SSL certificate requirements.

Multi-Domain Benefits​

Multi-Domain All domains configured under Multi-Domain share the same cache infrastructure, improving cache hit ratios and reducing origin server load.

Configuration Requirements​

Primary Domain Setup​

  • Configure the primary domain with origin server settings
  • Establish base cache policies and access controls
  • Set up initial SSL configuration

Alternative Domain Addition​

  • Add alternative domains through the Multi-Domain interface
  • Alternative domains inherit primary domain configuration
  • Each alternative domain requires separate SSL certificate configuration

SSL Certificate Management​

Individual SSL Requirements​

Each domain within a Multi-Domain configuration requires its own SSL certificate:

  • Primary domain SSL certificate
  • Separate SSL certificates for each alternative domain
  • Independent certificate management and renewal

Certificate Options​

  • Manual certificate upload for each domain
  • Let's Encrypt automatic certificates per domain
  • Mixed certificate types (manual + automatic) supported

Configuration Process​

Adding Alternative Domains​

  1. Access the primary domain configuration
  2. Navigate to Multi-Domain settings
  3. Add alternative domain names
  4. Configure SSL certificates for each new domain
  5. Verify DNS configuration for all domains
