Creating LFD Service

Large File Download (LFD) service enables secure file upload and global distribution through CDN infrastructure.

Setup Process​

  1. Select Add a Domain/File Download from domain management
  2. Choose Large File Download service type

Large File Download

Service Configuration​

Service Name​

  • Domain format: files.example.com for branded URLs
  • Friendly format: company-downloads for easy reference

FTP Credentials​

Configure secure access credentials:

  • File Download Name: Auto-generated in back-end from service name
  • Password: Set in FTP Password field
  • Confirmation: Repeat password for verification

Large File Download

Connection Details​

After creation, service provides:

  • FTP/SFTP server endpoint
  • Generated username
  • User-configured password
  • Protocol support: FTP (port 21) and SFTP (port 22)
